LINE KAZAKHS

We have patriots in our army that are needed for our veterans to work properly. If PANO has fusiliers, we have the line kazakhs.

 Basic infantry troops "line kazaks" are used in every army list. I will investigate them thinking different situations. How we can use them?

Here are all the options we have.

Cheap Cheerleaders

Bringing 3 line kazakhs with 2 muls gives us 5 net orders for only 37 points. You can still take a 5man link including a veteran kazakh and bring 5 more solo units with remaining points.

LT?

Why not bringing one like the list did above. You can take a tankhunter with chain of command and stay out of any trouble. You can put your kazakhs together to protect each other well or put them to seperate places in your deployment zone to push your opponent to guess the right lt.

Just be sure to keep chain of command and LT to be in completely different places to not loose both at them to a fiday.

Extra Burst for Veteran Kazakh

Line kazakhs has haris option too and you can add a veteran hmg for 5 burst hmg action. Veteran kazakh already has six sense and he doesnt need a forth member. So why dont you use 2 line kazakh for a strong haris ?

It is enough deadly, if you dont want to spend too much on attacking link and you plan to bring a defensive core this time.

Line Kazakh Attacking team

List below is a perfect example for cheap hitting machine with several button pushers. 

AP HMG becomes bs14 5 burst in this link. If you took a veteran kazakh instead a line kazakh, you would reach this bs still. So not bad odds. AP round is cool too.

Please check that inside i put our colonel and a grenade launcher too. Sensor+speculative grenades can help against some troops that is hard for us to reach. I would prefer here a grenade instead to get that +3 bonus but still a chance exists.  

Lets assume you reach to mid table with this link. If you have nothing to do in your hand, you can try your luck from far away. Grenade Launchers can reach 24 inch without any penalty. You can catch a link or few troops that grouped together unguard.

Line Kazakh Defensive Turret

Or you can do the opposite and use them in a defensive link. With new patch arrived, i use frotovnik sniper less often. Kazakh team is strong with kazakh(label).

Bs14 2 burst snipers are not great. If you can have a chance to field them far from hmg good range you can still have a chance with them against a terror unit. HMG is superior less than 32 inch range. Try to stay in cover in somewhere where is 35 36 inch to opponents' main threat. If your opponents' Marut is on left bottom, try to put your link on right up to get max possbile distance.

CONCLUSION

They are here for duty. Still cant understand why our missile launchers are more expensive than the Alguacils in Nomads or the Fusiliers in Pano. I take two snipers instead and go on my way.

The backbone kazakhs are used in every list with several uses. They are not fusiliers but they are ok with exceptional weapons.
