MULL OR KURYER OR NOT (USING THE REMS IN TAK)

 If you have REMS opponents, we have them in TAK as well. Even the BEST of the Rems...

Best when you compare the looks of the minis of course. Otherwise they are alright. :P 

Spotlight issue

The game is not as it is used to be. Before the change in spotlight, the meta was different. Now everybody has hackers and hackers spotlight any unit around. Time is for the ones, who have the hackers and their Guided missiles.

We dont have hackers in TAK, we cant spotlight our opponents both in their or in our turns.

We have to make movements in camo, find the right moment and enemy to forward observe them with our standart Wips. Still we have a good chance for that. Strelok, Scout and Vasily can do it in their camo forms. Vasily has wip14 and wip14 2 burst something interesting. We have also line kazak and dynamo option too again with standart wip13 and this time without a camo option.

Wardrivers are standart hackers with more Swc. You can spend 14 points to have a hacker that can die easily against  killer hackers. You can use coordinated move your units including a wardriver. then maybe you can do some spotlight then. 

Or just dont care these all and use your spetsnazs to kill with ease. :P

Lets check the costs of available units.

First of all, you must bring a basic dozer to have traktor muls. A 5pts mul and an Uragan will cost you 34 points. ( Which makes 3 regular order )

Uragan is a very powerful weapon. 3 bursts AP-Shock. 16 points is not bad, but you have to bring a dozer as a must is an issue. Bs10 is not very strong when you compare it with other armies. But still uragan is deadly.

Katyusya is a DA and since this is a long ride to move, fo an opponent, then sending missiles etc. It is better to use an uragan instead. But katyusya is really cheap indeed.

Here you can take 2 cheap muls with a dozer to get 3 regular order for 23 points. It is better than taking 3 line kazakh for 27 points and you can fill dynamos' mine dispensers too. If you can combine fruitfulness of these two types. 

Getting a katyusya , a mul and a dozer is 27 points which is like getting 3 kazakhs in costs and now you have a chance to fo-missile your opponents. Does it worth ? Well, sometimes it is better to hit a unit with mimetism by this way. Maybe you can try to kill several soft units at once. But it is relative at the end.

Kuryers are better for sure and bringing minelayer ability to table with better BS with 3 more costs to price.

For a special mul type, i would expect something eye catching here instead. Dozer is same. You cant take standart muls. Anyways minelayer is a nice ability that can do well with total camo marker shananigan. Especially after your muls and streloks find time to put more mines around, opponent will loose control and will have no idea about what is marker, what is decoy etc.

For 25 points, you can have these. 2 regular order. a chance for guided, an extra mine, an unit to deploy markers. Baggage for more mines. If you have nothing to do at all, why dont you coordinate your kuryers and streloks to lay mines together in a single coordinate order?

In kuryer side, i am more positive ,although many players think otherwise.

Better Uragan is a great defensive unit to hold a ground. Still acts like a source for guided missiles and has a mine to protect deployment.

Uragan with mines is a great unit to hold a ground. But it is very expensive. 19+13 makes 32 points and i hate that i need to bring a dozer with me. If i could take uragan alone, i would rate him much more highly.

CONCLUSION

Not that great but still looking useable. A kuryer with uragan , A kuryer with Katyusha or double muls with dozer are useful options. Bringing a guided is a hope to to cope with stronger links and unexpected big powerful units. Bringing one helps. Situation is not like in other armies though. Striking with guideds has to be a side idea for us. An other option in our arsenal, we can use. If you think it like a main strategy, you can be sad later.
